Integrated control in protected crops, Temperate and
Mediterranean climate

From August 31 to September 3, 2020 - Le QUARTZ, Brest, France

To encourage the participation of young scientists the IOBC-WPRS Working Groups ‘Integrated Control in Protected Crops, Temperate Climate’ and ‘Integrated Control in Protected Crops, Mediterranean Climate’ are offering five Student Travel Awards of maximum €1,000 each for students conducting research on integrated or biological control of greenhouse pests, or a topic directly related to it. Expérimentation Serre To be eligible for an award, applicants must:
1. Be enrolled in a college or university at the time of submission; a letter from the student’s advisor confirming student status must be included in the application package.
2. Be less than 35 years of age.
3. Describe in 500 words or less how their work contributes to improvements in IPM.
4. Offer an oral presentation as a contribution to the meeting.
5. Be the first author but need not be the sole author of the offered contribution.

The offered contribution will be subjected to peer review by the scientific committee of the WG as with all other offered contributions.

Applicants should include the information listed in points 1-5, a current CV as well as an Abstract that conforms to the format requirements described on the website. Applications should be submitted by e-mail to and by clicking on this link.

Applications must be received no later than January 15th, 2019, at the same time as the Abstracts deadline. Applicants will be informed by the 15th of February, 2020 on the decision concerning their application.
After acceptance of your abstract you will have to submit a full paper by March 30th 2020. The full papers have to be sent in a Word format to Laure Dreux and Juliette Pijnakker by clicking on this link no later than March 30th, 2020. Full papers received after that date will not be considered.
