4Growth - Digital Agriculture and Forestry: Understanding the Market to Forecast and Support Future Growth

The 4Growth project, funded by the European Union, aims to accelerate the digital transition in the agriculture and forestry sectors, which is often held back by traditional practices and limited adoption of data-based technologies.

By taking stock of existing solutions and investigating the mechanisms for adopting these technologies, 4Growth will make it possible to anticipate future developments. The results will be made available on an interactive visualisation platform.

This project brings together 13 partners from 9 EU countries to collect field data, identify barriers to technology adoption and formulate policy recommendations. This collaborative approach aims to promote sustainable growth and more efficient management of natural resources in these vital sectors through digital innovation.

In France, CTIFL plays a central role in overseeing an observatory dedicated to monitoring technology adoption in the agricultural sector. This observatory collects field data to assess progress and identify specific challenges encountered at national level. This data will also contribute to the development of tailored recommendations to encourage a more rapid and effective digital transition in France, and feed into the overall vision of the 4Growth project.
